ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER- Emergency Department- Northwest Hospital

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department team at Northwest Hospital, under the umbrella of LifeBridge Health. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the coordination of resources to deliver top-quality services to patients. The Emergency Department handles a high volume of patients annually, addressing a range of medical issues such as cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a difference in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assume 24-hour accountability for resource coordination to ensure top-quality service delivery.
• Implement clinical nursing interventions effectively to modify symptoms and assist in patient recovery.
• Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and ensure efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred with National Certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in nursing or related field.
• Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association CPR Certification.
