Job Description
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology to join our team at LifeBridge Health. In this full-time role at Carroll Hospital, you will work in a fully accredited program by the Commission on Cancer, with a focus on the treatment of cancer, blood disorders, and malignancies. Collaborating with board-certified Medical Oncologists, you will provide outpatient care, clearance for treatment, and inpatient consults as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide oversight for chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive therapies.
- Coordinate care with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of hematology/oncology experience.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Science.
- Certifications: CPR, BLS, DEA, AOCNP preferred.
- Registered with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses.
- Strong interpersonal and clinical skills.
