Job Description
Join Corewell Health as a full-time Radiology Technologist working afternoons. We are offering increased pay rates and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for this rewarding position. As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and advancing medicine through accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure patient, staff, and self radiation exposure is minimized.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas and assist in training new hires/students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications: CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT, CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA.
