Job Description: Radiology Technologist Full Time Days
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a full-time Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health. Join our collaborative team dedicated to advancing medicine and delivering exceptional care. Under supervision, you will perform diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. Apply principles of radiation protection, provide patient care, and contribute to the effective operations of the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document it in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently following protocols.
- Contribute to training new hires/students and maintain competency in assigned areas.
- Keep equipment and exam rooms clean, and stock necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications: CRT-Radiographer (R), CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration, and CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
