Job Description
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. You will work under supervision, ensuring patient safety, applying principles of radiation protection, and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Conduct radiographic and related patient care procedures using appropriate methods.
- Effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas, including fluoroscopic and diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
