Job Description
We are looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will play a vital role in providing direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians, monitoring patients, performing IV starts, documenting procedures, and educating patients and families.
General Summary
Under general supervision, the Special Procedure Tech ensures quality patient-centered care pre, intra, and post procedures. This role demands technical proficiency, effective communication, and adherence to Corewell Health standards.
Essential Duties
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform necessary documentation and education for patients and families.
- Maintain equipment and adhere to radiation safety standards.
Standard Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have the required educational background and certifications for Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or EP Lab. Additionally, strong communication, technical, and interpersonal skills are essential.
