Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. This position offers between 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory, report any issues, and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company standards
- Follow established procedures while maintaining confidentiality and security
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to operate a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
