Job Description
Join Aldi as a Full-Time Store Associate, working 32-40 hours per week. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a top-notch shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies.
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
