Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store remains organized, well-stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow established company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Proficient in operating store equipment and performing cleaning duties.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and multi-task efficiently.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
