Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI. As a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your role is crucial in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and collaboration with the ALDI team.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products and inventory
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company procedures and uphold document security
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds
- Engage in various physical activities in the store environment
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- Effective communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is advantageous
